ABOUT ME

I am a staff researcher based at INAF-National Observatory of Brera, in Milan (Italy).

My research focuses on the connection between active galactic nuclei (AGN) and their host galaxies across cosmic time. In particular, I am interested in studying the incidence and impact of AGN activity on a number of galaxy properties. To this end, I make use of ancillary data across the full electromagnetic spectrum, exploiting the deepest extragalactic surveys.

I use multi-wavelength tools to fit and decompose the spectral energy distributions (SEDs) of galaxies and identify a possible AGN emission component.

In addition, I make extensive use of X-ray, infrared, and radio data, stacking techniques and statistical tools to assess the physical properties of large galaxy samples.
